Not In My Back Yard

I read a fair number of blogs, through my google reader. I'm always amazed at how much good stuff is out there. Confirms once again that I am a very little fish in a big pond.

I like to read blogs that inspire, encourage, inform and look pretty. I generally don't follow blogs that are heavy on the advertising, have thousands of readers, or are exclusively about the picky details of the blogger's children & family.

I'm finding new blogs all the time (not enough time to read all the good blogs out there) so this list is often updated.

Art, Craft & Mama Speak

Most of these also have nice photos because what's a post without a nice photo (and not all these bloggers are mamas - though many are). And I'm happy to say that after months of reading, commenting, e-mailing and facebooking I've become friends with some of these women.

Garden, Kitchen, Homestead and Simple Living

I hate to lump these all together since they are categories unto themselves. And lots of the blogs in the previous list touch on these areas from time to time.

Friends & Family

So far none of my family or friends has become as blogging addicted as myself, so most of these are not updated often but of course I love to read them anyway!
