I'm a city dwelling, community minded gal with earthy farming sensibilities. I love libraries, dancing, neighborhoods, downtown farmer's markets and my husband's 5 minute walk to work. I also love composting, seasonal rhythms, making my own soap, hanging laundry and notions of homesteading.

I am a photographer, writer, gardener. I'm happiest camping and hiking in the mountains of Maine with my family. Blogging is one of my creative outlets.

On a daily basis you'll find me homeschooling my kids, having an afternoon tea, cooking plant-based gluten free meals, sharing recipes, hosting friends, organizing and simplifying my family's life. While cleaning and running errands as little as possible.

Also, make sure to check out the blog of my better half, ADVENTUREinPROGRESS. He doesn't post too often, he's too busy planning our next adventure but what he has to say is worth reading (in my humble opinion).
