Last night I spent an hour on line attempting to find a poncho pattern to knit...key word is EASY. I think I'll end up crocheting one...now all I need to do is learn how to do that and I'll be set! Yes this week I have been bored... although the list of 'to do's' is always long and dreadful I love making things. It's hard to sit infront of the TV or anywhere for that matter and not be busy with my fingers. I love the doll by the way. Did you use a outline? I am a wing-it kind of hobbiest. Time to get crafty. This morning my friend Casey came over and taught me how to crochet past the basic chain. Yeah, I'm learning something. So, I've started my first skull-cap type winter hat. Don't tell Brienne and Laurent but Celine is hoping to crochet blankets for their dolls for Christmas. </p> <p>This past week I've been busy sewing pillows for our newly painted living room. I still have lots of fabric that our landlady in NJ gave me. She was a seamstress and had odds and ends of beautiful tapestry fabrics. Now I can finally put them to good use in decorating our home. I love it! I can't sew a piece of clothing to save my life - just don't like following patterns and directions. But, I do like easy things like square pillows and basic valences.
