This is what we wore from week to week...like putting on a very cold board. My great,granma Cordelia Clementine used to laff when I took my weekly bath in the used soap water out in the cold. Goosebumps were everywhere and I was shaking a whome bunch. She read her bible everyday and was a serious member of the church at Cowling, IL, the Free Methodist church that is still there. I go over there almost every summer and usually attend if only to listen to Pearl play piano...as my grandfather Arthur taught her to play the piano! In my life, Pearl is the only survivor I have access to that has memories of my family when they lived in Cowling. Time...it fades away from us to quickly. Listen up, family, whats the chances we pull together fa Family Reunion in 2008 of all the Loevellettes and Tougards...HEY...we're all cousins, after all. Lets do it!
