Daisies in the Neighborhood

Since moving to my parents I've been trying to go for a walk every weekday with Damien. I'm not always successful because the days are so full but really, I have no good excuse. We both work at home, I should be able to make time for the basics of health and wellness - diet, exercise, and rest.
We walk the same route every day. This road along the river, off of which my parent's live, is the main thoroughfare and one of the few roads around.
On this afternoon's walk I noticed the daisies were starting to bloom. So I decided to return this evening to photograph and pick a few. (Photography tip: don't photograph flowers under the harsh light of midday. Morning or evening is much better).
This is our "neighborhood" so to speak.
And the roadside daisies are just a freebie.

I love that the main thoroughfare has no cars on it. :) So beautiful!

It does have cars from time to time and they drive pretty fast. Some points of the day are busier than others. And it can be a bit tricky to walk along, as there is no shoulder. But it's not too bad and the view is so lovely.

Daisies have always been my favorite flower. I think it's their beautiful simplicity that I find attractive.
