A better bubble post

{post publishing note: if you're coming over from Me Ra Koh's blog - Welcome! And thanks for visiting.}

I bought a bottle of manufactured (ie: we didn't make it ourselves) bubble mix the other day at the grocery store. Sure enough these bubbles are definitely better than the homemade mix I posted the other day (though I think using Joy dish soap would of helped).

But it's not the quality of the bubbles that make this a better bubble post. It's the sun!!

The sun is finally shining and has been for a few days now, interspersed with rain showers & thunderstorms. The sun inspires me in so many ways and I think it just might be my photographic muse, or one of them. When I'm able to catch the light, just so, I feel happy. Really happy. Like a little kid discovering a treasure at the beach, or a bubble floating in the air...

In the these photos I don't much notice the bubbles. I see the sunlight shining through Dolly's scraggly curls, Celine's ever lengthening ponytails and the sleeve of Brienne's new favorite dress. (Dolly is Brienne's nickname).

I see my girls and the late afternoon sun shining on all their childhood beauty, innocence and wonder.

      Nicola, you don't have an untrained eye. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I just happen to l-o-v-e backlit sunlight shots!

      No, I didn't sew her dress. I stick with square shapes - pillows, duvet covers and the like. That dress came in the hand-me-down bags and she was thrilled, it's just her style!

    Oh yummy mood in these. Love the sun almost setting, the fresh from the bath hair on your littlest and of course the bubbles.

      Oh Andie, I wish it were fresh from the bath hair. I don't remember the last time this littlest one of mine was actually "bathed". In the summer does lake, pond and stream swimming count??

    It is known that money can make people independent. But how to act when somebody does not have cash? The only one way is to receive the business loans and just secured loan.
