We got home a couple hours ago from our Memorial Day backpacking trip up to Horns Pond in Bigelow Maine.
I'm absolutely exhausted in the best kind of way. Going to bed early and looking oh so forward to sleeping in my own climate controlled bedroom.
I looked over a few photos from the weekend and very quickly (there's hundreds more) exported these few. Laurent took the photo of me at camp. I took the rest. I'm sure a few more will show up on this space and definitely at our photo blog.
I couldn't resist adding these flower shots I took when we got home. The day we left one peony was in bloom. We came home to abundant blossoms and a garden that looks like summer. Can't wait to bring some of those beauties inside tomorrow morning to make up our weekly bouquet.
Summer has truly begun and life feels good. Really tired, but really good.
