An August Dessert

It's the middle of August.
The days this week were ripe with all the best of summer. VBS, berries, basil, and swimming. At the end of one of those perfect summer days (truly, this week has been the height of summer for me) I had this for lovely combination for dessert.

Oh my gosh! Peaches and blueberries are the BEST!!! Your's look wonderful. I rarely get to have them here in Vegas. It's very difficult to get peaches to ripen properly. They're either hard or mushy. Maybe once or twice during the summer I can have this tasty combination. Thank you for sharing your beautifully yummy photo.
