Our family is location independent (we work from home, wherever we are). We live, work, and play - together. We are life learners, earning a livelihood at the intersection of our skills and passion, expertise and interests. We're good at what we do and love doing it.

Photography

Renee has done a variety of photography projects from family and group portraits to artisan product shoots. She specializes in nature inspired, family life photography and loves to capture the beauty of handmade goods.

Renee's work has been featured as a book cover and in online magazine articles. Her photography helps businesses, organizations, and individuals promote their products, services and craft.

Her photos have appeared in the subscription magazine Backpacking Light. And of course Renee's photography helps tell the story with the posts she writes here at FIMBY, ADVENTUREinPROGRESS and other blogs.

With a childhood spent programming computers, a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering and thirteen years in the computer industry (and an honest-to-goodness technical aptitude) Damien is hardwired to solve complicated, technology related problems.

Not only does Damien deliver technically, he empowers other people to understand and use technology for their purposes, not the other way around.

Renee is available for remote or on-location coaching, teaching and speaking. She is an experienced homemaker and homeschooler, possessing strong organizational skills and a commitment to life long learning. 

With a Bachelor's degree in Education and a mission to nourish, encourage and teach, Renee is a gifted and passionate instructor with a "natural talent for teaching in a way that is down to earth and easy to digest".

Adventure

Want to take your family outdoors? Do you want to do it without requiring a minivan or trailer to haul all the comforts of home into the woods? This is something we have been doing for years - hiking, camping, and backpacking light with our children.
