Episode 2 of our video series has just been released and I am especially excited to tell you our subscription series is now live.
Want to know what the kids think about this adventure? They spill the beans in this episode.
Brienne considers the possibility of natural trail make-up and Laurent anticipates the "big lesson" we'll learn on the trail. In this video I introduce the family (if you follow my blog you kind of know us already), and the kids share their insights going into this adventure.
Our video editors are amazing and even the credits (especially the credits!) are fun to watch.
If you were a project Kickstarter you already have access to these two videos and all episodes still to be released, as our hike progresses.
For everyone else, to get access to the videos going forward you'll want to subscribe. You can do that here.
You can buy individual episodes also, if you prefer.
I do so hope you'll follow along.
And now back to my packing.
Hi! I have followed your blog for years but only ever commented once. So excited for your adventure!! We live in Virginia...just down the road from Harpers Ferry. Not sure if that is one of your trail stops, but if so we would be glad to help if you need anything at that point. :)
Harpers Ferry is SO beautiful! I can imagine a weary hiker (or 5) popping into this town for a nice rest, and maybe an ice cream cone. I think it was Jefferson who called it the most stupendous scene in the nature.
I meant "in nature", not "the nature"
Gosh I cannot believe your adventure is just about here. I am so very excited for you. I will be subscribing to at least some of your videos. Know that you will be missed in the blogging world. You are one of the first I look for when I have a few spare minutes each day. I will pray for your family's health and peace. I will pray that you continue to enjoy each other's company while spending so much time under sometimes challenging conditions. I will pray for mostly nice weather along your route. And I will pray that this adventure meets all of your expectations! Have a great time. ~Kim
Kim, thank you so much. I'll still be here, just not so often :) I appreciate all those prayers, so, so much.

Michelle, I'm kind of partial to them myself. I'm totally biased but I think they're amazing :)
